Le Merc
Le Merc, along with a dozen or so of the best Naval players in Holdfast, established X on July 5th, 2020 to create a home for the most skilled and courteous sailors on the seven seas. Under his leadership, X has grown from a small group of friends into a family of Holdfast’s best men and women, united at their core by a determination to provide the most professional events, competitions, and community in all of online gaming.
The Admiralty
They are appointed by big chief Le Merc - the Imperator of X - and are tasked with the running of Regimental duties like event setup, crew management, diplomacy, structure and much more.
Atticus
X's Imperial Engineer and mastermind of the first X Naval League. Atticus has quickly risen from the ranks, proven a loyal and emboldened leader of X. As an EU leader and NA extraordinaire, you can almost always see him playing on the Seas of Holdfast.
Worbleworth
X’s Imperial Statistician has pioneered new ways of team balancing and event setup and advanced the fleet’s doctrine. Formerly a Marine in public games, he can now mostly be found organizing and running EU events.
Gunr
X's Imperial Overseer maintains crew discipline and is tasked with crew management and running of competitions like XNL and the X Games (series of challenges held every 4 months where every rank is X is fought for). Gunr has climbed the ranks rapidly and has help contribute to the continuation of the Old Guard of X through new gernerations.
Talbot
X's Imperial Seneschal attends to the administration of the community, providing direction for communications and maintaining the Fleet's wealth of recorded knowledge. The former instructor of artillery enlisted in October of 2020 and currently enjoys semi-retirement in a mostly advisory role.
Kill'em
X's Imperial Cartographer (having made over 12 of X's current unique as well as several variant maps in rotation), server admin, and naval fanatic. A steadying and calm hand in a crisis, he can be found both in X Naval Events, as well as Naval Public Servers.
Chadmiral
A mainstay in public Holdfast public server history. Chadmiral (aka Croissant) is amongst the longest serving members of X and functions as the Imperial Treasurer. He can frequently be found in pubs or giving tips on tech advice!
Safe
Formidable at the helm of any ship; Safe, a former captain, is the newest member of the Admiralty serving as X's Imperial Master of Ceremonies. He hosts X's "Crewmmunity Calendar" which includes movie and trivia nights as well as a wide range of party games!
The Emeritus
The Emeritus are former Admirals who have served the regiment and Holdfast Naval Community whos mark has been permanently burned into the core of our history.
